Description

Manage the organisation's tax compliance, including VAT, corporate tax and other relevant areas.
Develop and implement tax planning strategies to maximise efficiencies.
Provide advice on tax implications for business decisions and projects.
Oversee tax reporting requirements and ensure timely submissions to relevant authorities.
Monitor changes in tax legislation and assess their impact on the organisation.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate financial data for tax purposes.
Manage relationships with external tax advisors and auditors.
Provide training and support to colleagues on tax-related matters.

Profile

A successful Group Tax Manager should have:

A strong background in tax compliance and planning, ideally within the not-for-profit sector.
Professional tax qualifications, such as CTA or equivalent (ACCA, CIMA, ACA)
Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex tax legislation.
Experience in managing relationships with external advisors and regulatory bodies.
Strong communication skills to provide clear tax advice to non-specialists.
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying tax-saving opportunities.

Job Offer

A salary ranging up to £86,000 dependent on the level of experience.
