Temporary Purchase Ledger Clerk / Credit Controller

Immediate We're currently recruiting for an experienced Purchase Ledger Clerk to join a busy finance team on a temporary basis to provide sickness cover. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who can hit the ground running, with the potential for the role to become long-term for the right candidate. The role will primarily focus on Purchase Ledger , with some additional responsibility for Credit Control , Sales Ledger , and general Bookkeeping .

Key Responsibilities:

Processing high volumes of purchase invoices. Matching, batching and coding invoices. Supplier statement reconciliations. Assisting with payment runs. Carrying out light credit control duties, including following up overdue accounts. Supporting sales ledger activities. General bookkeeping and finance administration. Assisting the wider finance team where required.

About You:

Ideally 5 year's experience within Purchase Ledger and Accounts. Previous experience in a similar finance role with transferable skills. Confident managing high-volume invoice processing.

Experience with Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger, Credit Control and Bookkeeping. Excellent attention to detail and strong organisational skills. Able to work independently and manage your workload effectively. Available to start immediately.
