Senior Accountant Mayfair, London - on-site every day Permanent £Overview A global Private Equity firm are looking for a Senior Accountant to take responsibility for the day-to-day financial operations within their London office. The role will ensure timely processing of transactions, compliance with statutory requirements and the production of month-end and year-end financial information.Responsibilities.

Manage Purchase Ledger, including processing supplier invoices, payment runs, account maintenance and query resolution.
Manage Sales Ledger, including monthly portfolio company recharges, reconciliations and intercompany postings.
Maintain cash books and banking, process payments and complete regular bank reconciliations.
Process monthly payroll using Sage Payroll Cloud, including PAYE submissions and HMRC compliance.
Support month-end management accounts, including journals, accruals, prepayments, reconciliations and reporting through to Trial Balance.
Prepare and analyse employee expense reports and maintain accurate intercompany records.
Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns and support FCA regulatory reporting, including Reg Data and ICARA requirements.
Liaise with external Compliance consultants and legal advisers to ensure regulatory obligations are met.
