NHB Recruitment are working alongside this global online marketing company in their search for a Group Financial and Tax Accountant.
This role will see you support the Group Finance function by delivering accurate financial reporting, statutory compliance, and tax reporting across UK and international entities, specifically the US entity, within a fast-paced, high-growth SaaS environment. Collaborate with global finance teams to ensure compliance with IFRS, UK tax regulations, and international reporting requirements while contributing to continuous process improvement and business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Prepare and support UK and overseas statutory accounts in accordance with IFRS and local regulatory requirements.
- Assist with UK and international corporate tax compliance, including the preparation of tax returns for multiple jurisdictions.
- Support international payroll and employee benefits reporting across global operations.
- Assist with indirect tax compliance, including international VAT and sales tax reporting.
- Prepare and submit statutory and regulatory reports, including Office for National Statistics (ONS) returns, ensuring timely compliance.
- Support month-end and year-end close processes for non-trading entities, maintaining accuracy and adherence to reporting deadlines.
- Assist with Group audit activities by coordinating audit schedules, preparing supporting documentation, and responding to auditor requests.
- Contribute to global Research & Development (R&D) tax relief claims and associated documentation.
- Participate in finance transformation initiatives and ad hoc projects to improve financial controls, reporting processes, and operational efficiency.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional and international teams in a hybrid environment, supporting the wider finance function and business objectives.
- A minimum of 5 years experience working in practice or within a busy finance team for a global company
- Knowledge and experience of all parts of a modern finance team
- Hands on experience with a US entity and in particular US tax is highly desirable
- Consolidation experience is also desirable
- A good understanding of IFRS and UK tax
- Comfortable in a high-growth SaaS or tech environment
