Vice President – Investor Relations (Project Management)

London | Private Equity

Our client is one of Europe's leading private equity investors with a long-established track record of partnering with market-leading businesses across the continent. As the firm continues to expand its global investor base and execute future fundraising initiatives, it is looking to appoint a Vice President to join its Investor Relations team in London.

This is a high-impact role for an experienced Investor Relations professional whose expertise lies in leading the project management and execution of fundraising activities rather than originating investor relationships. Working alongside senior members of the Investor Relations team, you will be responsible for driving complex fundraising work streams, coordinating internal stakeholders and ensuring the seamless delivery of all investor-related initiatives.

The Role

As Vice President, you will take ownership of the operational execution of the firm's Investor Relations function, acting as the central point of coordination across fundraising, investor servicing and strategic projects.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading project management across primary fund raises, co-investment processes and strategic investor initiatives.
  • Managing fundraising timelines and ensuring all milestones are delivered on schedule.
  • Coordinating cross-functional work streams with Investment, Finance, Legal, Compliance, ESG, Tax and Portfolio Operations teams.
  • Overseeing the preparation and delivery of DDQs, RFPs, data room content and investor due diligence materials.
  • Managing the production of high-quality marketing collateral, presentations and investor communications.
  • Leading the planning and execution of Annual General Meetings, Capital Markets Days, roadshows and investor events.
  • Driving process improvements across the Investor Relations platform to enhance efficiency and investor experience.
  • Acting as a trusted partner to senior Investor Relations leadership, helping deliver best-in-class fundraising execution.
Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will likely possess:

  • 6-8 years' experience within the Investor Relations function of a leading private equity or fund.
  • Current experience at Vice President level, or an experienced Senior Associate ready to step into a VP position.
  • A proven track record of leading project management across multiple successful private equity fund raises.
  • Deep understanding of institutional fundraising processes and LP requirements.
  • Experience managing complex stakeholder groups across international businesses.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management skills.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and the ability to thrive under pressure.
  • Strong PowerPoint, Excel and CRM capabilities.
Why Join?

This represents an outstanding opportunity to join one of Europe's premier private equity firms in a highly visible role at the centre of its global Investor Relations function.

You will work alongside experienced fundraising professionals, gain exposure to the firm's most strategic investors and play a critical role in the execution of future fundraising programmes. The position offers significant responsibility, direct interaction with senior leadership and excellent long-term career progression within a market-leading platform.

Ideal Background

This opportunity would suit Investor Relations professionals currently operating within leading private equity firms, particularly those with significant fundraising project management experience rather than a business development focus.
