Credit Risk Analyst

We28099re working with a fast-growing financial services business looking for a Credit Risk Analyst to join their team in London.

This is a great opportunity for an analyst who enjoys using data to understand credit performance and wants to play a part in shaping lending decisions. Youll join a collaborative, commercially focused team where your analysis will have a direct impact on how the business operates.

• Using data to assess credit performance and identify trends, opportunities and areas of concern
• Supporting the development and ongoing improvement of credit strategies
• Analysing customer and portfolio data to understand what is driving performance
• Evaluating the impact of changes and providing insight to support decision-making
• Investigating emerging trends and digging into the data to understand what is happening and why
• Producing analysis and reporting for stakeholders across the business
• Contributing to wider projects and developing your exposure across different areas of lending

• Experience in credit risk, credit strategy or pricing within a consumer lending environment
• Strong SQL and/or Python skills
• Confident working with large datasets and turning data into meaningful insights
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• A good understanding of the relationship between credit risk and commercial performance
• The ability to communicate your findings clearly to a range of stakeholders
• A proactive and curious approach, with the confidence to take ownership of your work
