NMS Recruit is partnering with a highly respected Financial Services firm based in London to secure a Financial Controller. This is a full-time opportunity for a strategic financial leader.

Key Responsibilities:

Oversee the day-to-day financial operations, including accounting, budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
Manage and develop the finance team, ensuring efficient and effective performance.
Prepare and analyse financial statements, providing insights to support decision-making.
Develop and implement financial controls and procedures to safeguard company assets.
Manage cash flow and treasury functions, optimizing working capital.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and accounting standards (UK GAAP, IFRS).
Collaborate with other departments to provide financial support and analysis.
Drive process improvement and automation within the finance function.

Required

Skills and Experience:

Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with extensive experience in a financial controller role.
Strong leadership and people management skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Advanced financial modelling and reporting skills.
In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS.
Strong commercial acumen and business partnering skills.
Proven ability to manage complex financial projects.
