Accounts Assistant

Accounts Assistant - SAP Experience required Daventry - office based £14.00 - £16.00 per hour plus holiday Temporary Accounts Assistant - 3 months estimated cover We're looking for a capable and organised Temporary Accounts Assistant to join a fast-moving SME finance team. This is a varied, hands-on role ideal for someone with solid finance experience who can step in quickly and make an immediate impact.

Cover whilst a permanent recruitment drive continues What you'll be doing You'll support the finance function across all areas, including:
Processing and managing supplier invoices and payment runs Raising sales invoices, allocating receipts, and supporting credit control Completing bank reconciliations and monitoring cash activity Supporting month-end processes, reporting, and management accounts Handling expenses, card transactions, VAT support, and general finance admin Responding to day-to-day finance queries and assisting with audits and projects What we're looking for Previous experience in a finance or accounts role (e.g. Accounts Assistant / Bookkeeper) Strong understanding of bookkeeping principles Confident user of SAP Strong/Advanced Excel skills and high attention to detail Able to manage workload independently and meet deadlines Nice to have AAT studier or qualified SME background Exposure to VAT or management accounts About you You're reliable, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership.
