Responsible for the complete financial management, administration and reporting of several SPVs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial governance, supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders. A varied and commercially focused position combining technical accounting, financial planning and analysis, stakeholder management, audit coordination and project finance responsibilities as well as day to day bookkeeping responsibilities.
Prepare quarterly management accounts including journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis. Produce finance reports and present financial information at quarterly SPV Board meetings. Manage business planning cycles and financial model updates, obtaining Board and funder approvals where required. Undertake rolling cashflow forecasting and liquidity analysis. Ensure compliance with contractual, statutory and regulatory requirements. Build and maintain relationships with Asset Managers, Boards, funders, banks, advisors and suppliers.
Prepare annual budgets and quarterly VAT returns. Manage corporation tax processes alongside external tax advisors. Support Boards by identifying financial risks and opportunities and making recommendations. Lead the financial aspects of project commercial activities, including variations, lifecycle expenditure, benchmarking and market testing exercises. Manage the annual statutory audit process and coordinate approval of financial statements. Update invoice models, manage sales invoicing and oversee purchase invoice processing.
Complete monthly payment runs, bank reconciliations and journal postings. Monitor and manage aged debtor and creditor balances. About You ACA, ACCA or CIMA part qualified Available to start a 9 month fixed term contract in September 2026 Previous experience preparing management accounts and statutory financial information. Strong financial modelling and cashflow forecasting skills. Experience working with SPVs, project finance, PPP/PFI contracts or infrastructure projects would be highly advantageous.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, including presenting financial information to senior leadership teams or Boards. Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Advanced Excel skills and a proactive, solutions-focused approach. What's on Offer?
