Senior IBA Accountant London (4 days in office)
Up to 60,000 + benefits

We are supporting a growing, internationally recognised reinsurance business in their search for a Senior IBA Accountant to join their London-based finance team.

Your new role

You will play a key role in managing the day-to-day IBA and client money activities, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong operational control across the business.

Working closely with stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions, this role offers both hands-on responsibility and the chance to influence process improvements within a growing finance function.

Ownership of IBA processes including cash allocation, insurer settlements, and client money management

Performing and reviewing reconciliations across client money and insurer accounts

Supporting and contributing to Client Money Calculations in line with FCA CASS 5 requirements

Managing aged balances and resolving unallocated cash issues

Liaising with brokers, underwriters, and internal finance teams across UK and overseas offices

Supporting audits and maintaining strong financial controls

Identifying and implementing process improvements within IBA operations

What you'll need to succeed

Proven experience within an IBA / Insurance Accounting role Background within an insurance broker, MGA, or reinsurance environment

Confident managing reconciliations, settlements, and stakeholder queries

Strong attention to detail with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset

Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international environment
