Our client is seeking a commercially minded Finance Analyst to join their growing finance team.

This role offers the opportunity to partner with multiple business functions, provide impactful financial analysis, support strategic decision-making and contribute to forecasting and planning activities across an international fashion brand.

The successful candidate will play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling and performance analysis while supporting senior stakeholders with valuable commercial insights.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Planning & Forecasting

Support long-term forecasting activities, including annual budget planning and growth strategies.
Own the monthly forecasting process, including financial projections, reporting templates, data validation and reconciliations.
Evaluate actual performance against forecasts and provide detailed variance analysis, highlighting key risks and opportunities.
Deliver country and channel-level forecasting and analysis, working closely with operational and planning teams to identify trends and recommend commercial actions.

Business Partnering & Analysis

Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to provide financial insights and support business decision-making.
Supply financial data and analysis to support strategic projects and presentations.
Conduct financial simulations, scenario planning, and business case evaluations for investment opportunities.
Provide guidance on financial systems, reporting, and processes across the business.
Perform ad hoc analysis to support operational and strategic initiatives.

Financial Reporting

Assist with statutory reporting requirements and other external reporting obligations.
Support impairment testing processes and quarterly reporting activities.
Ensure accuracy and integrity of financial information and reporting outputs.

Skills & Experience

Essential

Previous experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, financial modelling, and business planning.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful business insights.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Comfortable working with ambiguity and able to clearly articulate risks, opportunities, and recommendations.

Desirable

Experience with in Retail, Consumer Goods or FMCG sectors.
Exposure to financial planning and reporting systems such as Hyperion.
Experience working within a large international or multi-channel organisation.
