Experteer Overview In this role you drive Airwallex's financial strategy as a senior finance leader in San Francisco. You own long-range planning, budgeting and forecasting, shaping executive narratives for boards and investors. You will guide capital strategy and allocate resources to top priorities, partnering across Product, GTM and Operations. You'll lead cross-functional initiatives to improve financial visibility and execution, mentoring a growing Strategic Finance team.

- Own long-range planning, annual budgeting and forecasting across business units Shape company-level financial narratives for board and investor communications Lead capital strategy and capital allocation decisions Partner with senior leaders to evaluate major strategic initiatives (new markets, product investments, pricing, partnerships) Oversee performance analysis, identifying drivers, risks and opportunities with accountability against targets Build, mentor and scale the Strategic Finance team Drive cross-functional initiatives to improve financial visibility and decision-making frameworks Enhance finance infrastructure, reporting systems, tools and processes for a global, scaling organization
- Tasks Bachelor's degree in Finance or related field 8+ years in strategic finance, management consulting, investment banking, or private equity Experience influencing executives and driving company-wide initiatives Advanced financial modeling skills for complex decision-making Strong strategic thinking, ambiguity navigation, and execution capability Excellent communication and stakeholder management, with board or senior leadership exposure Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional leadership experience Strong commercial acumen and understanding of growth-stage business drivers
