Location: Greater London
Experteer Overview Invesco seeks a Senior Associate, Fund Analyst for its London-based Real Estate Investment team to manage IREEF, a flagship pan-European diversified real estate fund. You will work across transactions, asset management, financing, portfolio strategy and investor reporting, gaining exposure to the full investment lifecycle. You will form investment views and translate complex analysis into actionable insights. This role offers influence on fund decisions within a collaborative, curious environment.
Pay / Benefits
- Own and enhance the fund-level model, including performance forecasting, scenario analysis, and portfolio construction insights
- Maintain forward-looking fund performance view, identifying risks and opportunities across sectors/geographies
- Support hold/sell decisions, capital allocation, and broader portfolio strategy initiatives
- Deliver fund-level analysis and reporting: rental/occupancy trends, valuation drivers, performance attribution
- Underwrite acquisitions/disposals from a fund-level perspective and partner with European transaction teams
- Challenge and adjust complex financial model assumptions with downside/upside/sensitivity analysis
- Provide concise, commercially focused recommendations for investment decisions
- Review asset-level business plans and collaborate with asset management teams to understand operational drivers
- Analyze budgets vs actuals to identify variances and trends, flag risks and opportunities
- Contribute to investment committee papers, portfolio reviews, and strategic presentations
- Translate data into decision-ready insights and bring independent thinking to discussions
- Work with finance/structured finance to reflect debt structures, tax considerations, and fund mechanics
- Support quarterly investor reports and articulate fund performance drivers
- Some years of relevant experience (exceptional candidates considered outside this range)
- Experience in real estate investment, fund management, valuation, advisory or related field
- Strong financial modelling and underwriting skills
- Excellent Excel capabilities including cash flow forecasting and scenario analysis
- Solid understanding of real estate fundamentals and valuation drivers
- Exposure to European real estate markets is advantageous
- Experience with Argus or Forbury is helpful but not essential
- A degree in Real Estate, Finance, Economics, Engineering or related discipline
- CFA, RICS or CAIA qualifications (or progress towards them) are a plus
