Head of FP&A

Equifind is supporting a high-growth VC-backed fintech with the hire of a Head of FP&A. Reporting directly to the CFO, this role will lead financial planning, forecasting, commercial analysis and strategic decision-making across the business. Partnering with the executive leadership team, you'll provide the financial insight needed to support growth, investment decisions and business performance. This is a high-profile position with significant exposure to senior stakeholders, offering the opportunity to shape both the FP&A function and the wider commercial strategy.

Key duties include:
Lead the annual budget, forecasting and long-range planning processes. Partner with the CFO and leadership team to deliver strategic financial analysis and commercial insight. Develop scenario modelling, investment appraisals and business cases to support growth initiatives and fundraising. Own Board, investor and executive reporting, providing meaningful financial and operational insights. Lead and develop the FP&A team while partnering with senior stakeholders across the business to improve forecasting and reporting.

Application criteria:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA). Previous FP&A leadership experience within a high-growth fintech, SaaS or technology business. Strong commercial finance, financial modelling and business partnering skills. Experience supporting investor reporting or private capital-backed businesses is highly desirable.
