You will join Zopa’s Treasury team and be involved in all aspects of the team’s work, including, interest rate risk, liquidity and cash management, funding and FTP. Exposure to the full range of Treasury activities will help you broaden your knowledge and develop your career a Senior Analyst, you will take ownership of key processes, support the Treasury team in driving improvements across reporting and support the delivery of Treasury projects.
Aday in the life:
Support Senior Treasury Managers in their roles, including liquidity management, IRRBB, FTP reporting, HQLA activity (including TMS management) and BoE / other wholesale funding activities.
Analysis of daily MI covering Treasury’s activities, ensuring all reporting is timely and accurate.
Production of monthly ALCO pack including preparation of monthly MI. Liaise with colleagues across the Bank to coordinate MI and papers
Prepare and deliver accurate monthly reporting on Treasury transactions
Assist with projects such as ILAAP, ICAAP, Recovery Planning and wholesale funding activities outside of BAU activities
Enhance use of Finance/Treasury systems including SQL, with a focus on process improvement and use of AI.
Work collaboratively with internal groups including Accounting, FP&A, Regulatory Reporting, Risk & Compliance, IT, Operations and Legal
You’ll have at least three years’ demonstrable Treasury experience at a bank or building society
Awareness and understanding of relevant policies and standards governing Treasury activities
Experience in supporting securitisation transactions as an issuer, understanding the ongoing investor reporting requirements is highly desirable
Hands‑on experience in one or more of the following areas: cash and liquidity management; liquidity monitoring and reporting; wholesale funding activities; interest rate risk management; and FTP
Strong understanding of the prudential regulatory framework, including LCR, NSFR, ILAAP, Market Risk and IRRBB.
Prior experience in Investor Relations is advantageous, with exposure to external stakeholder engagement and financial communications considered a plus
Able to organise and analyse statistical data and prepare comprehensive reports
Confident in using appropriate software tools and programs (Excel, ALMIS, SQL, Tableau and Anaplan) and are willing to learn new ones as required.
Confident in utilising AI tools to harness process efficiencies
You’re able to work well with cross functional teams and external partners
You have strong quantitative skills, problem‑solving, and must be detail‑oriented
You’re a fast learner – keen to develop your knowledge and be exposed to new concepts, processes and systems
