Hours:

9am to 5pm Holidays : 25 days  bank holidays Salary: £28,000 - £35,000 Reporting to the Finance Director and working within a small finance team, this is a varied, hands-on role with responsibility for supporting month-end activities and the wider finance function. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop into a broader accounting role and eventually take ownership of full accounts duties.

Key Responsibilities Month-end close, including journals, accruals and prepayments Balance sheet reconciliations Supporting management accounts preparation Sales and purchase ledger oversight Bank reconciliations and cash management VAT and general finance administration Supporting process improvements and finance projects Sales and purchase ledger control Credit control Supporting integration of a new system into the business Ad-hoc duties as required to include administration tasks Essential Experience Previous month-end accounting experience Strong knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics NAV (Navision) Good Excel skills Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently About You Hands-on and proactive approach Enjoys working closely with colleagues across the wider business Comfortable working in a small team environment Interested in systems and process improvement Keen to be involved in the implementation and integration of a new business system This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional looking to broaden their experience, work closely with senior leadership, and play a key role in both the finance function and wider business operations.
