Project Accountant 9 month fixed term contract to cover maternity leave Commencing early September 2026

Reed Accountancy is delighted to be partnering with a highly reputable infrastructure and asset management organisation to recruit a Project Accountant on a 9-month fixed-term contract basis, commencing at the beginning of September.

This is an excellent opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to take ownership of a portfolio of Special Purpose Vehicles (SPVs), supporting complex PPP and infrastructure projects while working closely with senior stakeholders, funders and board members.

Responsible for the complete financial management, administration and reporting of several SPVs. You will play a pivotal role in ensuring robust financial governance, supporting strategic decision-making and maintaining strong relationships with key project stakeholders.

A varied and commercially focused position combining technical accounting, financial planning and analysis, stakeholder management, audit coordination and project finance responsibilities as well as day to day bookkeeping responsibilities.

• Prepare quarterly management accounts including journal postings, balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
