Operations Associate – Fund Finance | Alternative Asset Manager

We are partnering with a leading specialist fund finance asset manager looking to appoint an Operations Associate to its growing London team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to broaden their exposure across fund finance operations, loan administration and investment operations. Working closely with the Deal Team, Portfolio Management, Finance and Capital Formation, the successful candidate will help ensure transactions move efficiently from execution through to ongoing portfolio management.
The role offers broad responsibility within an ambitious and fast-growing alternative asset manager, alongside the opportunity to improve processes, support platform expansion and contribute to technology and operational change initiatives.
Responsibilities:- Support the operational management of fund finance transactions from closing through the full loan lifecycle
- Administer post-close loan events, including drawdowns, repayments, interest payments and other cash movements
- Monitor and reconcile transactions, cash flows and operational data
- Support operational controls, governance, risk management and day-to-day oversight
- Work closely with Deal, Portfolio Management, Finance and Capital Formation teams
- Oversee and coordinate with fund administrators and other external service providers
- Assist with the operational launch of new funds, products and financing structures
- Contribute to system enhancements, integrations, automation and wider change projects
- Support the production of accurate internal and external reporting.
- Approximately 2-3 years’ experience within investment operations, fund operations, fund administration, private credit, private equity or asset management
- Experience supporting trade-lifecycle processes, reconciliations, cash movements or loan administration
- Strong numerical and analytical skills with excellent attention to detail
- Confident Excel user with experience working with operational and financial data
- Highly organised and capable of managing several priorities simultaneously
- Experience using investment, loan or portfolio-management systems would be advantageous
- Progress towards the CFA qualification would be viewed favourably but is not essential.
