A leading quantitative trading firm is hiring an Index Options Trader for a growing team in London.
The RoleYou will contribute to the development and ongoing optimisation of automated trading strategies in index options markets. The successful candidate will be deeply quantitative, with hands‑on experience building or improving systematic options strategies, and a strong intuition for the microstructure of options markets.
What you'll bring- Proven experience in systematic or automated options trading.
- Deep understanding of options market microstructure, pricing dynamics, and volatility surfaces.
- Strong quantitative and programming skills, with the ability to work closely with research and technology teams.
- 1-2 years experience at a high‑frequency trading firm, tier‑one bank automated trading desk, or leading market maker is strongly preferred.
- A collaborative mindset and genuine intellectual curiosity about markets.
