There has never been a more exciting time to join RSM’s digitally led Forensic practice. As this area continues to grow, we are expanding our Financial Crime Advisory capability and offering the opportunity to take on a hands‑on Managing Consultant role within a dynamic and ambitious team.
Our Financial Crime Advisory team supports clients across financial services and other regulated sectors, combining technical expertise with commercial insight to help organisations assess, strengthen and transform their financial crime frameworks, systems and controls.
As a Managing Consultant in our Financial Crime Advisory team, you will play a central role in delivering client engagements, leading work streams and managing teams to provide practical, risk-based solutions to financial crime challenges. You will work closely with senior client stakeholders while supporting business development, proposition development and the continued growth of the practice.
You’ll make an impact by:
- Supporting the delivery of financial crime advisory engagements, helping clients design, implement and enhance frameworks, controls and operating models
- Managing discrete work streams or smaller advisory engagements, ensuring work is delivered to a high standard and in line with agreed timelines
- Providing practical advice across AML, sanctions, fraud, anti‑bribery and corruption to financial services clients and other regulated sectors
- Managing project plans, budgets, resources, risks and quality to support successful engagement delivery
- Building effective client relationships, contributing to proposals and propositions, and coaching junior team members to support their technical and professional growth
What we are looking for:
You will be an experienced financial crime professional with a strong track record of delivering advisory projects and helping organisations strengthen their financial crime systems and controls. You will bring strong technical knowledge, project delivery experience and the ability to manage competing priorities, build client relationships and support junior colleagues.
Here’s what we’re looking for in our ideal candidate:
- Relevant experience in financial crime prevention, gained within professional services, a regulator, or an in‑house financial crime or compliance function
- Strong understanding of the legal and regulatory environment relating to AML, sanctions, fraud, anti‑bribery and corruption
- Experience delivering financial crime reviews, remediation programmes, framework enhancements or transformation initiatives
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving and report‑writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex issues clearly and pragmatically
- A proactive, organised and collaborative approach, with experience managing project delivery, stakeholders and junior team members
