- Prepare information and review UK corporation tax computations and returns (CT600), managing the compliance calendar and deadlines (including QIPs).
- Support the tax accounting cycle—current and deferred tax provisions and disclosures under IFRS and/or US GAAP.
- Identify risks and opportunities (capital allowances, R&D, loss utilisation, group relief, corporate interest restriction) and translate technical positions into clear guidance for non-specialists.
- Support tax governance and risk: SAO, CCO procedures, the HMRC relationship (BRR+), and the published tax strategy.
- Provide day-to-day advisory on UK matters— withholding taxes, interest deductibility (CIR), transfer pricing inputs, and cross-border transactions.
- Manage HMRC enquiries, preparing robust documentation and liaising with advisers and internal stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in UK corporate tax, in practice or in-house.
- Sound working knowledge of UK corporation tax legislation.
- Strong Excel skills;
- Excellent written and verbal communication in English (our company language).
- Able to manage multiple deadlines and stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
- A team player with a proactive, pragmatic, hands‑on attitude.
- Professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CTA, or equivalent), achieved or in progress.
- Experience with in a Big Four firm or a multinational in‑house tax team.
- Awareness of tax governance obligations (SAO, CCO) and international developments (e.g. Pillar Two).
Demonstrates expertise in UK corporation tax compliance, including preparation of CT600 returns and managing the tax accounting cycle under IFRS and US GAAP. Proficient in identifying tax risks and opportunities while providing clear guidance and managing HMRC enquiries.
