Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting
Our client is a large, internationally group, is looking for an FP&A Manager. The role sits within a small central FP&A team, reporting to the Head of FP&A with a functional line to the CFO, and is central to the information that reaches executive management.
Much of the mandate is consolidation and delivery, pulling together Group flash, forecasting and the annual budget, and producing the management information that board and executive meetings rely on. You would work across every function to capture and report performance (both financial and non-financial), with an eye on the underlying drivers and how they link back to strategy. There is a strong reporting and analytics thread running through it, developing management information that shows granular performance across the drivers of the business, surfacing the trends and opportunities that can be acted on, and helping improve the rolling forecast and longer term planning alongside the Head of FP&A.
Financial modelling to support business development, efficiencies and M&A features too, as does keeping processes, systems and controls in good order.
This would suit a qualified accountant with strong commercial awareness gained in large, reputable organisations. Strong written and presentation skills matter, as does real comfort with large datasets, organising them and drawing out the key messages. You would be dealing with senior stakeholders regularly, so the confidence to hold those conversations is important.
The salary is £75,000 to £90,000; this role is not eligible for bonus.
