We are looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join a leading commercial insurance organisation. This role is responsible for delivering high-quality financial and regulatory reporting while driving improvements across financial systems, controls, and processes.

Key Responsibilities:

- Produce monthly underwriting results, including premiums and claims reporting.

- Maintain balance sheet reconciliations and support financial controls.

- Analyse financial and underwriting data to identify and resolve discrepancies.

- Develop reporting solutions using SQL, Excel, and Power BI.

- Prepare regulatory returns and support statutory reporting and audit activities.

About You
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).

- Experience with in the insurance industry, ideally in a Lloyd's market environment.

- Strong knowledge of premiums, claims, reserves, and financial reporting.

- Advanced Excel and SQL skills, with experience using financial systems.

- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
