About the role...Working in a team with David Hales the Head of Development Finance – South. In the position of Senior Transaction Manager, you will play a critical role in the South and Southwest. You will be joining our small but growing team, who are committed to making positive change in how development funding is delivered to SME property developers.
David believes in delivering a first-class customer service, resolving issues informally wherever possible, taking an innovative and creative approach to project issues. A team ethos of collaborative working is encouraged. The team values diversity in experience and perspective to foster good decision making and problem solving.
This is a rare chance to shape the future of the South team within the National Housing Bank in a fast growing, national organisation with real social purpose. Working with key stakeholders and a professional property finance team you will ensure efficient, consistent and effective delivery of development finance to SME’s and have the opportunity to help deliver much needed new homes across the South region.
The role will support the design and delivery of key strategic projects around debt lead solutions. There are some creative and ambitious projects to get involved with and this is an excellent opportunity to balance day to day delivery whilst bringing innovative solutions to the Bank’s offering.
About you...You'll be comfortable supporting the head of team with complex loan structure issues, aiming to find solutions for commercially viable development scheme. You will be proficient in deal structuring and deal negotiation.
Delivering on a mission as bold as ours isn't always easy. You will be resilient and comfortable managing stakeholders at a senior level and your discussions will always be shaped by a good understanding of the commercial and operational impact of what we do as an origination team. You will enjoy working in an innovative, fun and engaging way and be able to negotiate and persuade.
As an experienced lending professional you’ll understand how to manage colleagues and be able to demonstrate you can work with others as part of a team in a collaborative, inclusive way.
