FP&A Director

FP&A Director The Financial  Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Team is currently seeking an FP&A Director based out of our London office. Working closely with a Finance Senior Director, this role involves providing financial insights and support to the BMI business within Fitch Solutions.

We’ll Count on You To:

Develop a comprehensive understanding of the BMI business and its strategic objectives and how they relate to financial planning activities.

Manage monthly performance reporting with full accountability. Actively participate in management meetings and take ownership for Finance related issues

Be the focal point for all BMI related Finance issues and the ‘go to’ person for the BMI senior management team to resolve Finance queries.

Ownership for the creation of budgets and forecasts, providing insight and detailed analysis.

Prepare analyses and provide actionable insights for senior management on emerging issues

Work with senior stakeholders to develop the financial assumptions and models which underpin new ideas and investment initiatives Gain a detailed understanding of key business performance metrics as they relate to client sales activities, contract values, discounts, product mix evolution and product profitability.

Proactively seek ways to enhance, streamline, and automate existing processes Function as a reliable Business and Finance partner to the Fitch Solutions Management Team and Group Finance/Accounting.

Working with senior stakeholders to influence major financial decisions.

What You Need to Have:

Fully Qualified Accountant.

Previous experience in FP&A Roles with a desire to continue this development.

Problem-solving abilities utilizing available resources effectively.

Expertise in financial software applications, including Excel, Powerpoint, ERP systems and AI Tools.

Strong analytical skills for interpreting complex financial data.

Previous experience creating Financial Models and use of business intelligence tools.

Experience collaborating with senior stakeholders.
