Job Description:

This role requires an understanding of Equity Derivatives and experience managing mandatory and voluntary Corporate Actions within a trading or investment banking environment. The successful candidate will be degree educated in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering or a related field and will demonstrate the ability to work effectively with Front Office, Technology, Operations and external clients in a fast-paced, risk-controlled environment.

Responsibilities:

Corporate Action events processing (elections & bookings)
Client Swap allocations

Performing Lifecycle events on swaps

Client facing Follow the Sun extended client service for swap queries

Single Stock and Index dividend reconciliation vs hedges

Rate & price fixings

Process Dividend payments and FXInvestigating P&L discrepancies

Build robust operation controls in place for risk monitoring

Query resolution.

Projects enhancement outside day to day, constantly seeking process improvements and build strong relationship with Tech/FO/Operations and relevant stakeholders

Skills:

Demonstrated understanding of Equity Derivatives.

Processing Mandatory and Voluntary Corporate Action bookings on swap and hedge positions front to back.

Managing Voluntary Corporate Action event variation requests.

Query management with Front Office and clients.

Build and maintain effective client relationships.

Continuous improvement mindset with the ability to identify and implement process enhancements.

Build robust operational controls for risk monitoring.

Experience working on projects and process improvement initiatives in partnership with Technology, Front Office, Back Office and Operations stakeholders.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines and prioritise effectively.

Advanced Excel skills required; VBA and/or Python preferred.

Degree educated in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Mathematics, Statistics, Financial Engineering, Business, or another relevant discipline.
