Job Purpose

We are looking for an experienced Finance Manager to oversee day-to-day finance operations, reporting, compliance, budgeting and forecasting, while providing commercial insights to support business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly management accounts, financial reports, variance analysis and cash flow forecasts.
  • Oversee UK VAT, PAYE/NI and Corporation Tax compliance.
  • Coordinate annual budgets, forecasts and financial planning.
  • Liaise with external auditors and support statutory accounts.
  • Maintain strong financial controls and improve finance processes and systems.
  • Provide commercial financial analysis and recommendations to senior management.
  • Supervise, mentor and develop the finance team.
  • Optimise finance systems and reporting tools such as Xero, Sage and Excel.

Requirements

  • Fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in commercial finance or management accounting.
  • Strong knowledge of UK accounting principles and tax compliance.
  • Advanced Excel skills, including financial modelling, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
  • Strong commercial, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
  • Previous team management experience is desirable.
  • Willingness to work on-site in London or Manchester.
