Private Client Manager

Bristol / London / Exeter | Very Flexible Hybrid Setup | Full time

We're working as the sole agent with a well-respected, independent financial planning and private wealth business looking for an experienced tax professional to help shape the next generation of their tax services.

This is a senior role combining client relationship management, technical tax expertise and operational leadership — not a straightforward return-review position. You'll manage a portfolio of high-net-worth clients, working closely with the Financial Planning team, while also helping build a more modern, scalable tax function.

What you'll be doing:

• Acting as primary point of contact for a portfolio of HNW clients across income tax, CGT, IHT, trusts and estates, property taxation, EIS reliefs and HMRC enquiries
• Driving quality, consistency and efficiency across the team's tax delivery
• Supporting the evolution of outsourcing, technology and AI-enabled processes
• Partnering closely with the Private Wealth & Financial Planning team to deliver joined-up advice

What we're looking for:

• Strong private client tax experience with HNW individuals and families
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
• A continuous improvement mindset and genuine enthusiasm for technology
• CTA, STEP or ACA and trust & estate experience strongly desirable
