  • Assisting with engagement planning, resource allocation and project management to ensure efficient delivery across multiple assignments.
  • Contributing to the development and enhancement of valuation methodologies, templates, processes and quality control procedures.
  • Supporting business development initiatives, including preparing proposals, attending client meetings and identifying opportunities for additional valuation work.
  • Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of valuation theory, market developments, tax legislation and financial reporting requirements relevant to valuation engagements.
You

The successful candidate will be an experienced valuation professional with a strong technical grounding and the ability to operate independently across a wide variety of complex engagements. You will ideally have:

  • At least 4 years' experience within a specialist valuation team, gained in practice, a valuation advisory firm or a comparable professional services environment.
  • Demonstrable experience leading valuation engagements with limited day-to-day supervision.

  • Exposure to intellectual property valuations, purchase price allocations (PPAs) and broader intangible asset valuations.
  • Experience applying option-pricing methodologies and Probability-Weighted Expected Returns Models (PWERMs) when valuing securities in complex capital structures.
  • Experience valuing shares and investment portfolios held within family investment companies (FICs).
  • Strong financial modelling skills, including discounted cash flow modelling and market-based valuation techniques.
