Senior Finance Business Partner

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Finance Business Partner to join a leading global specialty insurance business. This is a highly commercial role where you'll partner with senior stakeholders across underwriting and operational teams, providing strategic financial insight to support business growth and performance.

As a trusted advisor to senior leadership, you'll influence key business decisions, drive financial planning, and help shape the future direction of the organisation through robust analysis and commercial challenge.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior business leaders to support strategic decision-making.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning.
• Deliver commercial insight into underwriting performance, profitability and business growth.
• Develop financial models, business cases and scenario analysis to support investment decisions.
• Analyse financial and operational performance, identifying opportunities to improve profitability and efficiency.
• Present financial performance and recommendations to senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders.
• Support finance transformation initiatives, improving reporting, data quality and business insight.
• Maintain strong financial governance, controls and regulatory compliance.
• Lead and develop the finance business partnering capability where appropriate.

Candidate Profile

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with significant post-qualified experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role within the insurance or financial services sector.
