Operations Analyst

Operations Analyst 95,000 Hybrid 3 days a week Quant Capital is urgently looking for an Operations Analyst / Trade Desk Analyst to join our high profile client.

Our client is a well known Trading Vendor offering Portfolio Management and Execution to the hedge fund space.

Ops Analysts focus on ensuring that trades across the full range of asset classes have been completely and accurately captured through reconciliation to counter parties and third party systems. The core services, processes and controls are provided to ensure accurate risk and P&L capture. Responsibilities:
• Reconciliation of Positions
• Trade affirmation through middleware platforms (including Omgeo CTM, Markitwire, Icelink) and T0 counter party trade reconciliations
• Ensure positions and trade details recorded in internal systems match external parties (clearers, custodians, prime brokers, counter parties)
• Corporate event and credit event processing
• Equities, Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities, Crypto, Securities, listed derivatives, OTC processing
• New business initiatives:
Including set up of new instruments and products
• Process Improvements including technology enhancements
• Completing event reviews and implementation of risk mitigation improvements

Operations Analysts MUST have:
• Minimum of 3 years’ of operations experience in a vendor bank or buy side business
• Minimum of bachelors’ degree in Economics, Finance, or STEM related subjects
• Experience with Option/Futures Expiry + DR conversion workflows.
• Strong knowledge of Equities (Cash/Swap), FX/NDF, Futures/Options, ETFs.
• Execution, mechanics and analytics
• Front to back processes
• Market infrastructure
