New Leaf Search is collaborating with a leading European financial services group in its search for a Proposal Review Analyst
.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Asset Finance professional to join a specialist credit function positioned between Sales and Risk, helping to manage lending proposals from initial receipt through to submission for formal risk approval.
You will take ownership of proposal preparation and review, ensuring applications are complete, accurate and supported by the appropriate financial, commercial and risk information. The role also covers introducer onboarding and reviews, customer ratings and ongoing portfolio review activity.
Key Accountabilities- Take ownership of lending proposals received from Sales and ensure submissions for further credit approval are thorough and completed within agreed service levels.
- Work closely with Sales to obtain sufficient information and supporting documentation for proposals.
- Coordinate input from Asset Management, Legal, Collections and other relevant internal stakeholders.
- Collate exposure information, introducer limits, adverse information and other relevant data to support credit submissions.
- Ensure appropriate risk conditions and documentation requirements are identified in line with policy.
- Complete customer ratings at application stage and as part of ongoing annual review processes.
- Support introducer onboarding, reviews and vendor programme risk approvals.
- Collaborate with Sales and Risk to resolve process issues and optimise deal flow.
- Identify and recommend improvements to credit processes and operational efficiency.
- Minimum 3–5 years’ credit and/or sales experience within Financial Services.
- Asset Finance and Leasing experience with a good understanding of relevant products and funding structures.
- Experience preparing credit proposals for further approval is highly desirable.
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to interpret financial statements and commercial information.
- Experience assessing structured lending and cash flow lending transactions.
- Strong commercial judgement combined with a disciplined approach to risk.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organisational and time management skills with the ability to work to service-level deadlines.
- Good Microsoft Word and Excel skills.
We strongly favour applicants with proven, relevant experience in Financial Services, particularly in Asset Finance and Leasing. Relevant IN-COUNTRY experience is required; applications without it will not be considered.
