What you’ll be doing :

Want to play a key role in managing complex treasury transactions and supporting funding, liquidity and capital activity across a major UK bank? As a Senior Analyst within GCT Transaction Management, you’ll join our Treasury Middle Office team, a specialist function within Markets Operations that sits at the centre of Group Corporate Treasury activity. Acting as the interface between GCT and the wider Group, you’ll support a broad range of high value and often complex transactions across funding, liquidity, capital management and balance sheet activity.

You’ll be involved in the full lifecycle of transactions from initial set up through to maturity, ensuring processes, controls and reconciliations are accurate and well managed. Working across products such as FX, Money Markets, Derivatives, Fixed Income and Equities, you’ll support structured transactions including securitisations and capital securities. You’ll also contribute to strategically important Group initiatives, with opportunities to support large scale projects and operational change.

It’s a collaborative, fast paced environment with strong support to help you build your technical expertise and develop your career.

Why join us?

We’re on an exciting journey to transform our Group and the way we’re shaping finance for good. We’re focusing on the future, investing in our technologies, workplaces, and colleagues to make our Group a great place for everyone, make change happen and challenge the status quo.

What we’re looking for:
  • 3 years’ experience of treasury products, capital markets, capital instruments and settlement processes across Middle Office, Operations or Finance
  • Experience managing transaction life cycles including reconciliations, payments and investigations
  • Advanced user Excel skills
  • Proven experience of working collaboratively and constructively challenging Front Office stakeholders
  • Strong communication skills across teams including Finance, Legal and Corporate Treasury
  • And any experience of these would be great:
Exposure to Lean Six Sigma techniques Familiarity with Murex, Summit and or Oracle Treasury systems Experience supporting structured transactions such as securitisations or capital securities
