Finance Assistant/ AP Clerk | Creative Agency

Hybrid (3 days office / 2 days home)

We’re partnering with a high growth creative agency to hire a Finance Assistant/ AP Clerk into a fast paced, collaborative finance team supporting a dynamic and expanding business.

This is a hands on Finance Assistant/ AP Clerk position, supporting the finance function with day to day transactional activity as well as month end processes within a busy, project led environment.

You’ll play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy across a high volume agency structure, working closely with both the wider finance team and operational stakeholders.

• Processing purchase invoices and supplier payments
• Raising sales invoices and supporting billing cycles
• Reconciling bank accounts and balance sheet items
• Processing employee expenses and credit card statements
• Supporting month end close activities
• Assisting with accruals and prepayments
• Maintaining accurate financial records
• Supporting WIP and project related finance processes
• Liaising with internal teams to resolve queries
• Contributing to process improvements within finance operations

We’re looking for someone who is:

• Ideally 1–3 years’ experience in a finance or accounts support role
• Keen to study (AAT or early ACCA/CIMA stage preferred, but not essential)
• Experience with in a creative, agency, media, events or fast paced SME environment would be beneficial
• Highly organised with strong attention to detail
• Comfortable working in a high volume, deadline driven environment
• Confident communicating with non finance stakeholders
• Proactive, eager to learn and keen to develop within a growing business

• £33,000–£35,000 salary
• Study support ££ (where applicable)
