What youll be doing
As CFO for our Luxembourg-regulated entity you will be primarily responsible for maintaining the financial integrity regulatory compliance and fiscal oversight of Satispays European hub. Acting as a regulator-approved key executive your role involves aligning ambitious group-wide corporate goals with the demands of banking compliance managing the local balance sheet and safeguarding the entitys capital adequacy.
You will lead the entitys scalable Finance function including statutory reporting financial control audit coordination finance operations and integration with the Group Finance organisation to support Satispays growth and regulatory evolution.
Heres what that looks like in practice:
Reporting & Compliance: Take full accountability for the preparation and delivery of local statutory accounts regulatory filings and financial information required for Group consolidation ensuring the highest standards of accuracy compliance and timeliness. Ensure adherence to Lux GAAP/IFRS applicable regulatory requirements and Group reporting policies.
Financial Strategy & Liquidity: Oversee the management of liquidity risks and the protection of client funds as per e-money statutes while implementing effective yield-enhancement tactics for surplus liquidity. Lead treasury activities across the Luxembourg entity including cash management cash forecasting and coordination with the Treasury team.
Risk Management: Track and uphold institutional capital benchmarks establishing proactive detection mechanisms for market and liquidity exposures. Partner closely with the Chief Risk Officer and other control functions to ensure effective oversight of financial risks including liquidity capital and balance sheet-related risks.
Stakeholder Representation: Act as Satispays primary financial representative to regulatory bodies tax offices and external auditors ensuring the successful execution of annual audits.
Financial Control & Performance Reporting: Oversee the Financial Control and Controlling functions ensuring accurate month-end reporting balance sheet integrity and timely management information for local and Group stakeholders. Provide financial analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making and business performance monitoring.
Finance Operations: Ensure efficient and scalable Finance Operations processes including reconciliations accounts payable accounts receivable and month-end close activities. Establish and maintain a strong financial control environment across all operational finance processes.
Intercompany Integration: Work closely with the Group CFO and Finance teams to ensure seamless integration of local financial activities reporting treasury and planning processes within the Group Finance framework.
You will lead and mentor high-performing teams collaborate closely with peers with structured communication and transparency demonstrating a commitment to integrity and ownership.

You will lead by example combining ambition with purpose drive impactful results and cultivate ownership and continuous improvement in our dynamic environment.
Executive Experience: At least 8 years of leadership in financial roles at a primary EU financial hub or within Luxembourg-regulated payment institutions EMIs or banks.
Compliance & Regulatory Mastery:
Deep knowledge of CRR/CRD directives CSSF requirements Luxembourgish accounting (Lux GAAP/IFRS) and safeguarding standards.Regulatory Eligibility: Candidates must be qualified to meet the CSSFs fit-and-proper criteria necessary for official designation as an authorized director or manager
Technical Core Competencies: Proven track record across treasury management financial control statutory and regulatory reporting audit management capital and liquidity management and finance operations within regulated financial services environments.
