- Manage PAM Active solutions within established risk profiles
- Contribute to the broader success of PAM by sharing ideas and collaborating across investment teams
- Undertake due diligence on existing and prospective fund allocations, including leading manager meetings, analysis, and documenting key findings
- Contribute to active portfolio construction across multiple asset classes and at the holistic portfolio level
- Identify and implement opportunities to improve the effectiveness and efficiency of the investment process
- Participate in weekly, monthly, and quarterly investment meetings; prepare materials and support decision-making
- Support acquisition of new clients and continued growth of assets under management
- Assist colleagues’ development across the Investment teams by fostering a collaborative environment
- Develop a professional presence and participate in industry and community activities to enhance the firm’s reputation
- Build and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders across advisory and compliance services and external stakeholders, including fund houses and regulatory advisors
- Support marketing efforts through networking, seminars, media work, and collaborative production of marketing materials with the Investment Marketing Specialist
- Comply with applicable FCA and Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 requirements
- Holds a Level 7 CISI qualification or equivalent
- Previous experience in a similar role with an asset management firm (essential)
- Comprehensive knowledge of investments and stock markets
- Good knowledge and understanding of FCA conduct of business rules and suitability requirements
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build trust, foster positive relationships, and foster engagement
- Strong analytical and research skills
- Actively seeks to enhance own expertise and knowledge
- Must comply with the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000, FCA Statements of Principle and Code of Practice, APER, and relevant FCA rules
- Must meet FCA fit and proper requirements and maintain an annual Statement of Professional Standing
Demonstrates expertise in investment management, including portfolio construction and due diligence, while ensuring compliance with FCA regulations. Builds strong relationships with stakeholders and actively contributes to team success through collaboration and effective communication.
