This role sits within a growing employment tax offering at an advisory-led mid-tier firm.

The team works with a broad client base, from entrepreneurial owner-managed businesses to larger organisations dealing with more complex workforce structures.

The work is varied and includes PAYE and benefits, employment-related securities, share option arrangements, employment tax due diligence, IR35 status reviews, cross-border employment issues and reward planning for senior executives.

You will manage client relationships as well as deliver technical advice. Much of the value in the role comes from taking complex employment tax rules and explaining them clearly to finance teams, HR leaders and business owners.

The team is experienced, approachable and partner-led. Senior people remain closely involved in projects, and there is a collaborative working style where technical discussion is encouraged.

The role would suit an ATT or CTA qualified employment tax specialist with strong technical experience and the confidence to deal directly with clients.

A practical mindset is important. The advice needs to be technically sound, but also commercially useful.
