Accounts & Advisory Manager Cheltenham £45,000 - £55,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accounts & Advisory Manager to join a highly regarded and leading independent accountancy firm based in central Cheltenham. This position sits within a well-established legal sector team, supporting a substantial portfolio of law firms and individual legal professionals. Your role as an Accounts & Advisory Manager:
Managing a portfolio of law firm clients and overseeing all aspects of their accounting and advisory requirements. Acting as a key point of contact for clients, responding to day-to-day queries and providing proactive advice. Supervising assignments delivered remotely, from the office, and occasionally at client premises. Leading and supporting advisory projects including practice restructures, valuations, mergers, acquisitions, and succession planning.

Working closely with specialist tax colleagues on compliance and planning matters where required. Supervising, mentoring, and developing junior team members. Conducting performance reviews, one-to-one meetings, and supporting training and development initiatives. Contributing to the continued growth and success of the legal services team. What you'll need to succeed: ACA or ACCA qualification (or equivalent). Strong technical accounting knowledge, including UK GAAP, Companies Act requirements, and Financial Reporting Standards.

Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate, develop, and manage team members effectively. Experience working with law firms would be advantageous but is not essential as full training will be provided.
