Finance Assistant Data Processor

Finance Assistant/Data Processor Tavistock, Devon Circa £30,000 - £33,000 per annum Our client, a well-established organisation, is seeking an experienced Finance Assistant/Data Processor to join their small and collaborative team on a full-time, permanent basis. This Finance Assistant/Data Processor role offers a broad range of responsibilities across finance administration, data processing and reconciliations. It would suit a detail-oriented finance professional who is confident using technology, comfortable working across multiple systems, and looking to develop their skills within a supportive and collaborative team.

The role provides genuine responsibility and variety, with the opportunity to contribute to the smooth and accurate delivery of the wider finance function within a supportive team environment. The responsibilities:
Support day-to-day finance administration and data processing Prepare invoices and assist with credit control activities Complete regular bank and transaction reconciliations Support supplier payments and charity disbursement processes Maintain accurate donor and financial data across internal systems Liaise with employers, charities and financial institutions as required Manage shared mailboxes and respond to queries promptly Provide wider support to the finance and processing teams as required The candidate: AAT Level 3 qualified or above, with relevant finance experience Strong Excel and IT skills, with confidence learning new systems Previous experience using Sage or similar accounting software Good understanding of financial controls, reconciliations and accounting processes Highly organised, accurate and able to work effectively both independently and collaboratively If you would like to know more about this Finance Assistant/Data Processor opportunity, please get in touch with Rachel Dawson, here at Lloyd Barnes Recruitment.
