Global Energy Trading business is now seeking a Senior Analyst to join their Origination team in London. The position will play a central role in supporting origination and deal development across crude and refined products. There is a strong business development focus and the role will identify opportunities in the market and provide the commercial analysis to ensure the opportunities are structured and priced correctly.
This will require strong financial modelling skills and the role will be exposed to commodity trade finance and financing off take structures.
To be considered for this role you should ideally have a background in commodity finance and trade finance alongside strong financial and commercial evaluation skills. Experience of working with oil and oil products is important but not essential. You will need excellent analytical and modelling skills and strong communication skills. In addition you should be able to manage competing priorities and multiple tasks.
Candidates with backgrounds in structuring deals, including energy trading, structured commodity finance, or bank trade finance will be a good fit.
