Senior Consultant, Retail Banking, Regulatory Advisory In today’s rapidly advancing world, what clients, EY people, and all stakeholders want and need from EY is changing – innovation and agility are more important than ever. The opportunity Financial Services is changing, fuelled by innovation, technology and AI. We are striving to lead this transformation with our clients, helping them respond to new technologies, market developments and changing customer needs in line with UK regulatory expectations. Success in this role requires that you understand the regulatory and competitive landscape our clients operate in, including Consumer Duty, conduct and payments regulation, and that you can work with them to understand the implications for their business and operating models.

We’re currently growing our Regulatory Advisory team across all capabilities to help meet increasing demand, including the Retail Banking team. We are delivering a number of large scale and strategic projects with some of the UK’s largest and most innovative financial services institutions. You will work as part of a wider EY team alongside Managers, Senior Managers, Directors and Partners to provide knowledge, create insights and deliver solutions, including technology-enabled regulatory solutions.

Our clients consist of traditional retail banks, consumer credit firms, payment firms and new market entrants who are innovating in this space. We are looking for individuals with experience across this sector who can help our clients deliver on their ambitions while meeting regulatory expectations. As part of our team, you will be asked to generate innovative ideas, support delivery of high-quality client work and contribute to practical regulatory solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities
