What you'll do:
As a Credit Risk Manager at MUFG in London, you will be entrusted with significant responsibilities that span the assessment of fund financing transactions through to the ongoing management of complex portfolios. Your day-to-day activities will involve working collaboratively with colleagues across multiple departments both locally and internationally to ensure that all aspects of credit risk are meticulously evaluated and managed.
You will engage directly with clients during due diligence processes, contribute to the development of new products by shaping risk frameworks, and play an integral role in presenting key transactions to senior management. Your ability to communicate effectively will be essential as you clarify risk appetites for stakeholders and negotiate terms within legal documentation. Success in this role will come from your attention to detail, your capacity for clear analysis under pressure, and your willingness to share knowledge within a supportive team environment.
Assess and recommend appropriate ratings and credit limits for fund financing transactions by evaluating transaction structures and collateral packages to ensure robust risk management.
Engage in active dialogue with trading, sales, and relationship manager counterparts to ensure that risk appetite is clearly understood by all 1
