Investment Banking - Infrastructure Advisory – Senior Associate

The Infrastructure Finance and Advisory group has a global mandate to advise clients on financing infrastructure projects and work with coverage, product and sales teams to develop and execute financing solutions for infrastructure projects across transportation, energy, utilities and social infrastructure sectors. The group’s London-based team is primarily focused on Europe, Middle East and Africa. It is comprised of experts in project finance, bonds, loans, structured products and derivatives.

Job responsibilities Develop financial models and complete financial risk analysis for greenfield and brownfield infrastructure projects across a broad scope of different infrastructure classes and geographies

Assist in undertaking transaction due diligence to assess credit risks, and identify mitigants

Draft financing proposals, investor materials, road show marketing materials, rating agency presentations, pitch books and other marketing materials

Coordinate across multiple teams including client coverage, product partners, internal stakeholders to manage deliverables and ensure transaction objectives are met Engage closely with clients and third party advisors to develop and implement appropriate financing solutions in a range of situations

Assist in preparing, reviewing and negotiating financing documentation to support the senior project finance advisors in working with clients

Conduct industry and company research to identify new opportunities

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills 3-5 years of investment banking or private equity experience Proficient quantitative and analytical skills (including excel and PowerPoint)
Demonstrate advanced financial modelling, valuation and debt structuring capabilities

Highly motivated, adaptable, able to mutli-task and manage project independently Ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines Ability to interact with stakeholder in a wide range of situations

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills Infrastructure/project finance experience

This role encompasses the performance of regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the relevant regulatory authorities to carry out such activities.
