We are currently hiring for an Associate to work in the Debt Capital Markets – EMEA Ratings Advisory Group in London
.
Ratings Advisory is a market-leading team at the centre of a broad range of corporate transactions, including M&A, debt financing, equity raises and corporate actions such as share buybacks. The team advises on all aspects of corporate ratings as well as optimal capital structuring.
This role offers significant exposure to high-profile, pan-European and potentially cross-border transactions and the opportunity to work closely with senior bankers, clients and rating agencies. The successful candidate will play a key role in driving transaction execution, developing analytical insights and contributing to strategic client engagement in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities Include- Preparing peer benchmarking
- Running rating process work-streams within transactions
- Analysing credit and providing preliminary rating views
- Project management role in transaction processes, including coordinating and communicating with key stakeholders and third parties, including clients and rating agencies
- Outstanding academic track record from a leading university
- Strong analytical and numerical skills with a clear interest for analytics and modelling
- Excellent problem-solving skills and an ability to comprehend complex concepts
- Background in Investment Banking or Credit Ratings is preferred but not required
- Proficiency and experience in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Power Point
- Excellent attention to detail and high standard of accuracy
- Motivated and hardworking
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
- Team player and able to work effectively with a collaborative mindset
- Able to articulate complex ideas simply and summarise them effectively
- High level of motivation, professionalism and commitment to excellence
- Fluency in English
