London Salary Guide: £70,000 - £80,000, Depending on Experience  Our client, a leading technology platform, is seeking a Senior Finance Manager to join their team for an initial 12-month period. This is a hands-on role, working closely with the Financial Controller to support audit and take full ownership of the management accounts. The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant, trained in audit with post-qualified experience in industry.

This role requires an immediate start. Description The responsibilities of the Senior Finance Manager include, but are not limited to:
Own the full management accounting month-end close, including balance sheet reconciliations. Prepare financial statements, including supporting materials, and be the first point of contact for auditor queries. Work on technical judgements around intangible assets and impairment testing. Support the Financial Controller on tax computations and claims. Work on consolidations and the intercompany matrix. Support R&D capitalisation, documenting each stage of the process.

Assist with process improvement across the function and clearly document for handover. Skills The skills of the Senior Finance Manager include but are not limited to:
Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or equivalent), trained in audit with a minimum of three years post-qualification experience, ideally in industry. Strong IFRS knowledge is essential. Confident with goodwill and impairment testing, acquisition accounting and consolidation. Experience in a PE-backed or group environment would be beneficial. Previous experience in software or SaaS is desirable. Strong Excel skills are essential, and Net Suite is advantageous.
