Nomura's Global Markets Division handles client transactions for financial institutions, corporates, governments and investment funds around the world. We act as market makers, trading in fixed income and equity securities, including currencies, interest rates, securitized products and credit in cash, derivatives and structured products. As an Analyst in Global Markets, Structured Credit Solutions (Credit Structuring), you will join a team with a strong track record of being at the forefront of providing our clients with innovative tailored solutions in the credit space, including single name and index credit-linked products, repacks, secured funding and other exotic solutions. You will receive ongoing performance feedback and have access to division-specific educational sessions designed to aid your professional development.

As a Credit Structurer you will coordinate with traders, sales and as well as support functions (including middle office, compliance, legal) to support the commercial effort related to the activities in all areas of the Structured Credit Asset Side business.

You will also participate in the building of streamlined templates and automated processes with the help of internal and external stakeholders.

• Appropriate academic qualification in a quantitative or economics-related subject
• Would be an advantage to have completed a previous experience/internship in investment banking, asset management or credit related industry
• Strong programming skills (python ideally), knowledge of a version control system tool (Git) and data management programming language (SQL) would be a plus
• Excellent analytical skills and attention to details
• Articulate and able to communicate clearly, both in writing and verbally
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn, good project management skills and a team player
• Fluency in English is essential, French would be a plus.
