Job Description & How to Apply Below

£50,000 to £80,000 based on London - other locations may vary. London or Remote.

Fanvue is one of the fastest-growing creator monetisation platforms globally. We’re an AI-powered, creator-first platform helping creators connect, engage, and earn directly from their audiences lowing our recent SeriesA, Fanvue has surpassed $100M+ in annual recurring revenue, with triple‑digit year‑on‑year growth, supporting hundreds of thousands of creators and millions of fans worldwide. Money moves through Fanvue in three directions every day: fans paying in, acquirers settling to our banks, and creators being paid out what they have earned.

At our scale, across a multi‑acquirer stack and multiple currencies, proving that all of it happened correctly is a discipline in its own right. That is what this role owns. The role is a Finance controls role. Operations runs the payment rails. You prove the money moved, every day, independently. The distinction matters and it is the whole point of the job.

Today reconciliation happens periodically. Your job is to make it constant and owned. We are building the ledger and matching tooling in parallel, so the mechanical matching will be automated. What automation cannot do is own the exceptions daily and apply payments judgement: reading an acquirer statement and spotting a fee that does not match the agreement, or knowing whether a settlement gap is a weekend cycle or a genuine break.

That judgement is why this is a specialist hire rather than generalist finance headcount. You will be doing live reconciliation work from week one. There is no synthetic onboarding period.

The Role

We’re hiring a Payments & Treasury Analyst to own continuous reconciliation of money movement across the platform, reporting directly to our VP Finance with a dotted line into Operations.

What You’ll Do
  • Own the daily acquirer to bank reconciliation across our full acquirer estate
  • Stand up and run independent daily monitoring of creator payouts against earnings owed, so no payout moves without reconciliation behind it
  • Publish a weekly reconciled percentage per leg to Finance, and keep an exceptions queue that gets worked rather than just logged
  • Validate acquirer fees against every merchant services agreement and recover variances
  • Map FX exposure across settlement vendors and optimise cash held across our outbound rails
  • Sit as Finance's independent second-line voice in our Payments Risk forum
  • Turn payments in and payouts out into one standing daily process rather than two separate scrambles
Who You Are
  • From fintech, payments or payment processing. This one is non-negotiable, because it is not trainable on the job
  • Experience of marketplace or platform-scale payments environments is a strong bonus
  • You read acquirer statements natively and have an instinct for when a number is wrong before you can prove why
  • You treat reconciliation as an owned daily discipline, not a monthly report
  • Comfortable being the person who says the numbers do not agree, and then finding out why
  • Confident working across multiple currencies, settlement cycles and providers
  • Some treasury exposure, or the appetite to take it on. FX and cash optimisation are part of this role from day
    31 onwards
  • Happy to own something end to end rather than contribute to someone else’s process
You’ll Thrive Here
  • You want to build a discipline rather than inherit one
  • You would rather prove something than report it
  • You like being the independent check, and are comfortable with the friction that sometimes brings
  • You want direct access to a VP Finance and real influence on how controls get designed
You’ll Struggle Here
  • You want a monthly close rhythm and a predictable calendar
  • You need the process to already exist before you arrive
  • You would rather escape an…
