Global Mobility Tax Manager

Responsibilities

• Manage all day-to-day aspects of a client portfolio, including conducting arrival and departure meetings with international assignees.
• Review UK tax returns and address any arising queries.
• Manage modified expatriate payrolls, perform gross‑up calculations, and oversee the year‑end process.
• Provide strong financial management and ensure accurate reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with corporate clients and individual expatriates, delivering a high level of client service.
• Manage and coach junior team members to ensure a high standard of client delivery.
• Act as the primary contact point for both corporate clients and individual expatriates.
• Lead the delivery of tax projects, ensuring technical excellence and a practical, business‑driven approach.
• Manage risk appropriately for both clients and the firm.
• Deliver advisory work on your portfolio and support senior team members on specific advisory projects.

• Take a leading role in growing the Global Mobility practice, with particular focus in London and the South East.
• Proactively manage existing clients and contribute to winning new work.
• Build strong relationships with clients and target prospects in the region.
• Engage in extensive networking with colleagues in the broader tax teams.
• Work on tenders and deliver proposals.
