** Equity Research Associate Internship - Summer 2027
**** The Role
** Looking for a best-in-class opportunity to obtain hands-on experience with fundamental analysis and the investment research process? The Equity Research Associate internship program gives interns the chance to obtain and develop the core research skills needed to jumpstart a successful and lucrative career in investment management. The program is led by our director of research, and each intern will be paired with a peer in the research department who will mentor them throughout the summer.

Throughout the 10-week program, interns will support real investment decisions by:
* Conducting autonomous research on three stocks across different sub-sectors.
* Building financial models, completing financial analysis, and conducting proprietary research.
* Communicating with corporate management teams, industry experts, and Wall Street analysts, to develop investment recommendations for our funds.
* Collaborating with fellow interns and utilizing the vast network of Fidelity managing directors of research, analysts and portfolio managers.
* Pitching stock recommendations to internal portfolio managers.
** Education and Experience
*** Class of 2028 Bachelor’s degree candidates
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proactive, seeks additional responsibilities and learning opportunities
* Proven success during his/her academic career with a preferred GPA of 3.2 or higher
* Strong analytical and quantitative skills
* Demonstrated expertise using Excel
* Highly motivated independent problem solvers, ability to think outside of the box and bring a unique perspective
* High levels of integrity
* Demonstrated initiative and intellectual interest in studies/extracurricular activities related to the financial markets
* Ability to work well under pressure and time constraints
