Monday–Friday | Hybrid options available The Opportunity We are looking for a commercially minded Business Finance Advisor to join a growing financial consultancy team supporting UK businesses with their funding requirements, financial planning and commercial decision-making. This is a client-facing position suited to someone who enjoys understanding how businesses operate, analysing their financial position and helping business owners explore practical finance solutions.

Rather than focusing on investments or personal wealth management, you will work primarily with businesses, directors and commercial clients , helping them understand their funding requirements and navigate appropriate business finance options. You will receive structured onboarding, ongoing professional development and exposure to a broad range of businesses, sectors and financial scenarios. What You'll Be Doing As a Business Finance Advisor, you will manage conversations with prospective and existing business clients to understand their commercial objectives and financing requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:
Speaking with business owners, directors and senior decision-makers. Understanding a client's business model, objectives and current financial position. Identifying the purpose and scale of a client's funding requirement. Reviewing management accounts, cash-flow information and other relevant financial documentation. Assessing the commercial viability of potential funding options. Helping clients understand different forms of business finance. Supporting businesses seeking funding for expansion, equipment, working capital, acquisitions or other commercial purposes.

Exploring options including commercial loans, asset finance, invoice finance and other business funding solutions where appropriate. Preparing clear client summaries and finance proposals. Liaising with lenders, finance providers and internal teams. Gathering the documentation required to progress finance applications. Comparing commercial terms and explaining key differences clearly to clients. Maintaining accurate records of client discussions and applications. Following internal compliance, confidentiality and data-protection procedures.

Developing long-term professional relationships with business clients. Keeping up to date with developments across the commercial finance market. What We're Looking For We are interested in candidates who combine strong communication skills with commercial awareness and an ability to understand financial information. You may already have experience within:
Commercial Finance | Business Banking | Accountancy | Financial Analysis | Corporate Finance | Business Development | Lending | Credit | Financial Consultancy Applications are also welcomed from ambitious candidates earlier in their careers who demonstrate strong financial knowledge and commercial potential. You should ideally have:
